Note – The Auction for “Sarah Rose” took place on Wednesday May 13 and brought $16,000!

“Sarah Rose” Is Going
To Auction!

Many of you who attended the 2014 ICOM in Columbus saw the truck “Sarah Rose” at the Rapha House booth.  What you may not know is the back story.  Last July, David (ICOM’s Executive Director) invited Stephanie Freed from Rapha House to share at a rally at his home church where Stephanie spoke and screened “Finding Home,” the film about the work of Rapha House in the lives of three young girls.  At that rally, Jason & Carrie Smith were inspired to do ‘something.’  That something ended up being a 1952 Dodge pickup truck that they restored to show condition in just a few months for the expressed purpose of auctioning with 100% of the proceeds going to Rapha House.

The “Sarah Rose” truck is a beautiful work of restoration that mirrors the healing that God brings to the lives of Rapha House girls. The truck is up for auction TODAY, May 13th, at Mecum Auto Auction in Indianapolis and proceeds are to benefit Rapha House. We invite you to pray that this event will raise awareness about the problem of sexual exploitation and the way that God is using his people to bring about healing!

Please pray that all of the Smith family’s hard work translates into a great auction at Mecum!  And look for a brand new video chronicling Jason & Carrie’s story this summer from ICOM.
Here are the details for the auction!
Auction Date: Today, Wednesday, May 13th
Auction Location: Mecum Aditorium
Auction begins at 10:00 am – no specific time given for the RH truck.

Update: Kansas City Hispanic Church Plant
In 2013, President Jair Castillo had a dream of planting an outreach that would extend the gospel to the 260,000 Hispanics in the greater Kansas City area.  We are happy to announce that through all the process, a Hispanic ministry was birthed from the Legacy/Overland Park campus with 77 in attendance on Easter Sunday.  Jimmy Viola, who was commissioned during one of the main sessions at ICOM, is leading this outreach under the direction of the leadership of the Legacy Christian Church.   We pray that this will be a fruitful ministry for everyone.

2015 Info Minute: RV PARKING

If you plan to come to ICOM using your RV, we have good news for you:  There is a gravel parking lot on the east side of the convention center for RV’s!!!!!  The cost is $6 per parking space per day.  If your unit takes more than one space, then you will be charged for that.  Because this is a first come, first serve basis, it would be to your advantage to call the number we are providing below and reserve the number of spaces you will need for the day you plan to arrive til you depart.  This is a public parking lot, so there is no guarantee that the space will be open unless you reserve it.  There is no electricity or sewage drop at this location.
Please call: Johnnie Hogue at Standard Parking, (804) 648-8698 to make your reservation.

The second best actual RV park is: Americamps, 11322 Air Park Rd., Ashland, VA  23005, which is 16 miles north of the convention center in Richmond.
