3 Things, Easy Read!

Restoration Revolution 2013 Report & ICOM Hotels

Need some help!
David is asking for input from everyone about any event or activity your ministry or mission would have completed in 2013 about one of these four things:

  • Prayer—has your church been active in prayer? Can you tell us how?  Another interest would be, has your church adopted an unreached people group?
  • Church Planting—this decade we are trying to see 1,000 churches planted in 3 ways, thereby 3,000 churches: in the US, church planting movements outside US, churches planted wherever needed.
  • Tools——There are lots of avenues that open doors to ministry: medicine, clean water, disaster relief, teaching English, etc…  How has your mission or church been involved?
  • Servants—We are looking for camps, conferences, or colleges that can give specific numbers of decisions for full-time christian service.

Hotel Update for ICOM 2014
The Hilton and Drury Inn have filled their room blocks, so they are full.  You can get a reservation at the other hotels online: Hyatt, Crown Plaza, Hampton Inn, or the Red Roof Inn.

  1. Some have been having trouble booking for a room, not realizing that the hotel might be full on one night, but open on the others. If it won’t let you book, try calling to make your reservation to see if the hotels are full or not.
  2. Red Roof Inn Note: The code word for making the reservation is “mision”.  There are only so many letters allowed, so there is only 1 s.

VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: We reserve these hotels by contract years in advance, getting the best rates while also getting other rooms and things to keep our costs as low as we can.  Not using our housing block will only make ICOM more expensive in the future if we do not meet our quota with the hotels.  It might save you money now, but it might raise costs later if we have to pay for unused hotel rooms.

Tragedy at Camp Illiana
Camp Illiana, in Washington, Indiana, suffered a tragic loss when David Bean, the camp manager, was killed Monday morning.  Please keep the camp leaders, staff, and the all those involved in your prayers today.
