Thank God:

·      That we serve a risen Savior!

·      For the opportunity to coordinate an Easter dinner for our co-workers and a few other missionary friends.

·      That we now have a small back-up generator at our house, which relieves some of the pressure of the ongoing power outages here in Madang.

·      For the good planning meeting that Eunice had with Justin and Thomas as they prepare for another week of training Mbore teachers who are using PBT’s Elementary Prep curriculum.

·      For our team here in Madang that works cheerfully together in the face of an ongoing stream of challenges.

·      For fun celebrations of Eunice’s birthday.

Please Pray:

·      That meetings taking place now in an Akukem village will lead to acceptance of proposed spelling changes that can make their language much easier to read. (These are the meetings about which we asked you to pray last week. They are finally happening, and they will include more participants than originally planned.)

·      That the back-up generator at our office can be repaired quickly. Without it the office will not be functional.

·      For productive work days for both of us these next few days as we tie up loose ends.

·      For safe travel and for a restful and restorative break. We leave Madang Thursday morning for 13 days or R&R at a missionary guest house in Cairns, Australia.
