Thank God:
· For the productive PNG Forum of Bible Agencies meeting in which Mike participated last week. Thank God for resolution of copyright concerns that were complicating the distribution of Scripture and for the fellowship Mike enjoyed with the men who attended from other agencies.
· For protecting Eunice during Mike’s absence. Thank God for an alert and caring neighbor who chased away would-be intruders one night and for the man who came to stay in the house above our apartment the remaining two nights that Mike was gone. Thank God for the caring responses of several of our team mates.
· For a promising conversation that Mike had with Manuel, the leader of the Akukem translation team.
· For our newest co-workers Dave and Carol, who arrive Wednesday to provide much-needed technical services and administrative services. (Though they are new to our team, they already have experience serving here in Papua New Guinea with another Bible translation organization.)
Please Pray:
· That we will not allow crime or power outages or any other aspect of our physical circumstances to dictate our attitudes or distract us from our purposes for being here.
· For a productive work week for both of us. Mike’s plate is full and Eunice has numerous unfinished tasks to complete before she begins her trip to the U.S. later this month. Pray that we will accomplish much this week.
· That God will grant good spiritual and physical health to our entire team.
