Thank God:
· For enabling the Mbore team to progress in their tedious task of reading through their New Testament in order to correct spelling, grammatical, and other mostly minor errors so that it can be typeset and printed. The team has every reason to be fatigued and discouraged, yet God is sustaining them and it is amazing to see their smiles as they walk into the office each morning.
· For the progress our co-worker William and his co-translator Samuel are making as they continue working on the Waran New Testament.
· For His sustaining power at work in our lives.
· For our son Matthew, who celebrates birthday number 35 Monday. Give thanks for his love for the Lord and for the many ways he serves Him, for Godly friends, and for stable employment.
· For a schedule adjustment that has eased the intensity of Eunice’s work load on PBT’s magazine The Latest Word. Give thanks that she can now focus on curriculum work and some administrative tasks while continuing her editing work on the magazine.
Please Pray:
· For wisdom for Mike to know the next steps in the Akukem translation program. Pray also for the translation team, that God will work mightily in their hearts to prepare them for their next season of working on the translation, whenever it begins.
· For Eunice to balance her work load well.
· For our teammates in parts of the world impacted by civil war, Ebola, and severe persecution.
