Thank God:
· That last week’s Hope for a Better Future conference went well. The theme of Unity was presented and demonstrated throughout the week. Praise God with us for the 120 people who registered and for their desire to live out Jesus’ desire that God will be glorified as His followers unite in doing Kingdom work.
· For sustaining Mike through a very l-o-n-g week.
· For the opportunity we and several co-workers had to share during the conference about Bible translation and challenge the churches to become involved in specific ways.
Please Pray:
· For Mike to be able to catch up on important tasks and emails that accumulated while the conference was his primary focus.
· For Eunice as this season of intense work PBT’s magazine The Latest Word continues.
· For our co-worker William and his co-translator Samuel as they work on correcting the draft of the Waran New Testament. They are currently working on Luke, and when it is finished they have only five short epistles to go through before this stage of their work is completed. Pray that they will accomplish all of this by mid-November.
· For the Mbore team, assisted by our co-worker Norm, as they continue the tedious task of reading through their New Testament in order to correct spelling, grammatical, and other mostly minor errors so that it can be typeset and printed. Pray that they will find everything that needs to be corrected. Pray for encouragement from the Lord when they feel weary or discouraged.
