Thank God:
· For all that He enabled both of us to accomplish at work this past week.
· That the newest issue of PBT’s The Latest Word magazine is now in the printer’s hands. Give thanks for sustaining Eunice and other team members, particularly Ryan and Laura, through the final intense push.
· For progress in packing up our house here and preparing for a month’s absence. Give thanks also that our housing needs in Dallas are being met and we have a vehicle to drive for all but our first few days there.
Please Pray:
· That we will complete all the tasks here that matter most before we leave early Thursday morning. Pray also that details that still need to be worked out for our time in Dallas will come together well.
· For God’s comfort for Waran translator Samuel Sangon and his family. Samuel’s young daughter is missing from her village home and presumed drowned. Pray also for our teammates William, Robin, and Bethaney as they grieve with their Waran friends. Pray that God will be glorified in the midst of a very difficult situation.
· That God will show our team how to work through the ongoing challenges in the process of doing audio recordings of the Mbore New Testament and making final adjustments to the translation so that it will be clear and readable in all Mbore dialects. Pray for the translation reviewers, the recording team, and the PBT missionaries who will meet Tuesday afternoon to try to resolve the current issues.
· That we will be able to meet with our church’s outreach team after we return to Papua New Guinea. (The meeting we anticipated having last week didn’t materialize.)
