Thank God:
· That the Field Directors’ Forum in which Mike participated last week went well. Give thanks for the encouragement of interacting and praying with other directors and key administrators.
· For sweet reunions at church and with PBT teammates.
· For our teammates who braved the heat and the crowds to represent PBT’s ministry at last weekend’s Madang Cultural Festival.
· That about 70 men and women are participating in this week’s Discovery seminar, prayerfully seeking God’s direction for their lives and exploring possibilities for involvement in PBT.
Please Pray:
· That God will be glorified in everything we say and do during our time here in Dallas.
· For stamina to gain and contribute all that we can during this very long month. Pray especially for both of us as we participate in a lunch meeting today for participants with interest in PNG and for Mike as he makes a formal presentation about PNG on Thursday morning.
· For PNG-bound interns Breanna, Max, and Chris as well as their coach Michelle as they complete their pre-field orientation this week and depart for PNG.
· That seeds of interest sown at the Madang Cultural Festival will grow in ways we cannot even imagine, mobilizing Papua New Guineans for significant involvement in finishing the task of Bible translation and Scripture impact.
· For our teammate Jim and two Papua New Guinean men who are equipping Kire-speaking church leaders to read and teach from their Kire New Testament this week. Pray that God’s Word will impact them deeply and that this will contribute to revival and transformation throughout the entire Kire area.
