Herchenroeder Prayer Update – January 19 2015 – Pray for flooding to end in the Mbore area

Thank God:

·      For all that we were able to accomplish this past week preparing for our team’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which begins Monday.

·      For the safe return of teammate Norm.

·      For the safe arrival of visitors Kyle, Paul, and Kathryn, who have come to participate in our AGM.

Please Pray:

·      For peace and unity on our team as we meet this week. Pray for grace and discernment so that we can productively discuss challenging topics.

·      That Sob translator Ari will arrive in Madang to assist in the typesetting of Luke in his language. Our teammate Chris traveled here from the U.S. to work with him, but his arrival has been delayed. Pray that he will arrive in time to complete his part of the work before Chris’s scheduled return to the U.S.

·      For an end to flooding in the Mbore area. The gardens that are their food source are threatened, and an Elementary Prep training course, scheduled to be held last week for Mbore-speaking teachers, has been indefinitely postponed.
