Thank God:

·      For His sustaining power that is at work in us.

·      For the numerous encouragements He wove into our week. We were especially blessed to have Josh spend an afternoon and evening with us.

·      That Eunice’s bags are packed and she’s pretty much ready to head to the airport shortly after we get home from church.

·      That the inaugural issue of the Latest Words publication is in the mail!

 

Please Pray:

·      For safe and pleasant travel for Eunice as she leaves Dallas late this afternoon with scheduled arrival in Madang about 30 hours and three flights later (late Tuesday afternoon PNG time). Pray that she will be able to upgrade her seat on the long flights across the Pacific so that she can rest better and use her computer to do some work. (She tried doing this in advance but was unable to do so because of oddities in her ticket.)

·      For emotional, physical, and spiritual strength to accomplish all the selling, packing, giving away, and saying good-bye that will be packed into her nine days in Madang.

·      That Mike will manage well during Eunice’s absence. Pray that he will get good rest balanced with calls and visits from friends so that he does not become too lonely. Pray for safe travels for Karissa and Josh, who plan to visit him midway through Eunice’s absence. And please continue to pray that God will heal Mike and renew his strength, and that He will use him in mighty ways during this time of healing.
