Thank God:
· For His sustaining power through another full and at times stretching week.
· For enabling Eunice to edit an article for a new PBT publication. Give thanks also that she was able to participate in a strategy session for this publication as well as PBT’s The Latest Word magazine.
· That Mike’s appointment Tuesday with his doctor was, we believe, productive.
· For our daughter Karissa, who celebrates another year of life on Thursday. We praise God for her life and ministry as she continues to serve at Abilene Christian University.
Please Pray:
· That God will provide all that we need for a smooth move into our house Wednesday. Pray that those who plan to help us will be able to do so. Pray that we will get settled quickly despite the fact that we will not have the house completely to ourselves for several more days.
· For Eunice to find time to edit well the second article for the new publication when it comes to her. (Someone else will rewrite it first.)
· That God will heal Mike and renew his strength, and that He will use him in mighty ways during this time of healing. He is trying a different thyroid medication for two weeks; pray that by the end of the trial period it will be clear whether he should switch to it long term. Pray also for accurate results on blood tests and for wisdom in making whatever decisions we might face based on those results.
· For our teammates in Papua New Guinea, especially Brian, the director, as he carries a heavy load.
· That God will bring about the completion of the Akukem New Testament.
