Greetings!
Attached to this message is a summary of this past year in our ministry with Pioneer Bible Translators.
Here are our praises and requests:
Ÿ Thank God for the joys and victories we see as we look back on this year. Give thanks also for the hard aspects of this past year and for His sustaining presence as we walked through them.
Ÿ Thank God that the Wagi people now have the Gospel of Luke in their heart language.
Ÿ Thank God that more Papua New Guineans can now access electronic copies of God’s Word in their heart languages. Thank Him that Mike has had – and will continue to have – a part in this.
Ÿ Thank God for enabling Eunice to impact Pioneer Bible Translators’ ministry worldwide through her writing and editing work.
Ÿ Thank God for our new home – and for the wonderful couple who bought our previous one.
Ÿ Pray for our teammates in Papua New Guinea, particularly the team who are pushing really hard to finish the final checks and corrections to the Mborena Kam New Testament (with hopes that it will be published and dedicated next year), for William Butler as he and his co-workers are in the final stages of completing the Waran New Testament, and for Martha Wade as she and her co-workers push to complete the Apal New Testament.
Ÿ Pray that God will provide all that is needed for the PNG team to acquire additional housing to accommodate the growing team there.
Ÿ Pray that God will heal Mike and restore his strength and energy. Pray that He will use Mike mightily during this time of healing.
Ÿ Pray that our words, actions, and attitudes will glorify God in all ways.
