Hurricane Matthew Impacts Haiti
At about 2:30 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, October 2, rain began to fall in Peredo, Haiti. It was the front end of a multi-day siege of wind, rain, and destruction from Hurricane Matthew that was unleashed on southeastern Haiti.
Gratefully, we’ve been able to communicate frequently with RoRo & Eline who are in Peredo, and we have been posting updates and photos from them on our Facebook page and blog. Please keep checking these for the most recent updates. We will be sending our regular monthly eStories out in the next week with additional updates and ministry news.
Update from Tuesday, 10-4-16
On Tuesday afternoon, RoRo and our Haitian friends were able to leave their storm shelters for the first time to begin surveying the initial damage from Hurricane Matthew. This blog post has updates of what we know at this point and includes photos and video: Hurricane Matthew Update: Oct4

We’ve put together a blog – Hurricane Matthew: How you can help – that outlines the best ways to help at this time. Please read, share, pray and give!
