It finally happened! We have asked you to pray for months for the Compressed Earth Block (CEB) equipment to be released from customs. God has graciously answered our prayers!
The CEB equipment arrived in Peredo in the late evening of March 29. This next step in our Community Development program will not only provide jobs for our Haitian partners, but will also decrease the cost of building for HCO.
In addition to homes and smaller projects that will be built out of CEB, our trained Haitian staff and short-term teams will use CEB to build Phase II of Peredo Community Hospital as soon as the funds are raised. It is an exciting time for HCO and PCH!
We are looking forward to having Adam from DwellEarth come to train our Haitian staff on the use of the machinery. But, we need you to join us again in prayer!
Currently, Adam’s schedule will not allow him to come to Haiti until June. Naturally, we are wanting to get started right away since we have had to wait so long for the equipment to arrive on campus. We are asking God to make a way for Adam to come train our staff before June 1. Will you join us in this prayer?
Again, thank you for your funds, prayers, and partnership in making this project happen for the people of Haiti! We can’t wait to tell the stories of how God will use this to glorify His kingdom!
