Guy Hammond is the Founder of Strength in Weakness Ministries. Guy is a best selling author, international speaker and counselor educating Christians on how they can successfully share the good news of Christ with the LGBT community. Guy and his wife have taught over 60,000 people in churches, faith based groups and universities around the world.
Dr. Marcus De Carvalho is the President & CEO of Untangle Addiction. Marcus is a Medical Doctor who specializes in addiction medicine and psychiatry. He is the president and founder of The Center for a Healthy Mind and Wellbeing. He is an expert in a number of disorders and diseases and is often consulted by local news outlets concerning issues of addiction and psychiatric health matters.
Preparing for Tough Topics is a preconference for those interested in how the church can effectively address topics like homosexuality and addiction. The preconference runs from Noon-4:00 PM on Friday, November 16th at the Hershey Lodge. It is open to anyone, but would be very valuable for those involved in church leadership.
