Mobile phone subscriptions are now close to 7 billion and rising. Mobile devices are changing people’s lives in every corner of the world and provide a great opportunity to share the Gospel with every person on the planet.

Pray for Chile

 

Chile’s population is nearly 17 million. Chile claims to have Latin America’s fastest growing economy, despite the financial crisis of 2008. Catholic influence is still strong in Chile, and 70 percent of people identify with the faith. Yet, only 13 percent of Catholics regularly attend mass, and the society is moving further from traditions of the past.

Well, the USA did not win soccer’s World Cup. I was chatting with a colleague. He didn’t want to hear the outcome of the Belgium vs USA game because he was going to watch a recording of the match. Isn’t it interesting how knowing the score or outcome takes all the internal suspense out of a game? The same could be said for the World Cup of life.
