Prayers are making all the difference here. In a country where influence, money and power make things happen you who are praying fervently for CDMM are causing so many who have never known of us and our work to stand-up and take notice. Through this horrible event we are seeing new opportunities for ministry, new villages asking for us to come in and offer them Spiritual and Physical assistance! We are in the light now and so many that know us are coming forward to offer their assistance here are coming forward and defending us in a might way.
Psalms 35:11-18 has been on my heart it says in part: Starting in vs.11 “False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother. But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not. With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. Lord, How long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions. I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people”.
Having given so much loving care, sacrificing our own comforts and safety, we have as a family worked day and night for 23 years to help many of these same people has been my torment this past week. This is apparently something that has happened many many times all throughout the history of the church. We count ourselves fortunate to be on this list of those that have been falsely mistreated for being the mouthpiece, and hands of Christ here in the Dominican Republic. To have so many faithful friends praying sustains and encourages us. Thank you for your faithful prayers! The Lord will vindicate and restore CDMM and there will be a great benefit in Kingdom growth we will see from this suffering we are convinced of this. His word is true always!! The Lord is good! All the time!
