Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I have a special announcement and prayer request. I just received an email and phone call from brother William, our Freedom House India director. William says “Brother Rusty please share the wonderful news, we have been able to rescue two more children from child trafficking!”
Raiu (boy) 7years old and Kaveri (girl) 9 years old, were being forced to work at a landfill, salvaging through the garbage. They were dropped off each day by the labor boss to search for recyclable materials to sell. The children were barefoot and very weak. They were being forced to work in the disgusting, filthy-smelling dump in dangerous heat and monsoon rains. Praise God! They will never have to spend another day at the dump or be abused by the THUGS who were exploiting them! The children will undergo a medical and psychological evaluation to determine their needs. Please continue to pray for all of the children of Freedom House, the staff, and the Andhra Pradesh churches who help provide for their care. As we partner together with the India churches, we are helping put a stop to child trafficking in India.
