Dear Reggie Hundley; Mission Services,

What a blessing it is to know that people all around the world are praying for our ministry and our partners. God is doing wonderful things through the ministry of FAME and we are so thankful for YOU and your prayer partnership.

This month we would like you to join us in prayer for many of the volunteers that come into FAME and give of their time and talents. The make-up of these volunteers ranges from retirees to stay at home moms, to medical and business professionals. God can use anyone for His service. If you have an interest in volunteering, please let us know. We love our volunteers and could not do all that God has called us to do without their help.

Other items of prayer this month include:

  • Church and campus ministry visits by FAME Executive Director, Bill Warren and Director of Development, Jeff Coon.
  • Many of our mission partners in Haiti with whom we have partnered on sustainable healthcare projects, have shipped medical supplies and equipment or have taken a short-term medical mission trip. To find out more about their missions, visit their websites below:

  • Our short-term mission trip to Haitian Christian Mission, October 27-November 4. Please pray for the trip participants and the people they will be reaching. The primary focus of this trip is to serve alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters who are medical professionals in providing medical/spiritual care through multiple mobile medical clinics to people living in remote communities who have little to no access to healthcare.
  • Two new FAME scholarship recipients in Myanmar. These two students are studying to become nurses and are sponsored by Asian Children’s Mission who will be overseeing their scholarship funds.  www.asianchildrensmission.org

And lastly, please continue to keep those affected by the recent Hurricanes in your prayers, as well as the relief workers that are helping in the aftermath.
