FAME – May 2 2016 – Join in praying for the work of FAME in May

MAY 2016

Thank you so much for your continued support of the ministry of FAME through prayer. We are blessed to have so many faithful partners in ministry.

This month we have a short-term medical mission team going to Honduras to serve with Felipe and Valerie Colby of His Eyes in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This team can expect to experience Honduran culture first hand by staying overnight in a rural community, working side by side with Honduran medical professionals, and teaching community health lessons to community leaders. Please join us in prayer for the team, the missionaries and the ministry there.

Please also pray for many of our FAME partners with whom we are currently working with on a sustainable project or the shipping of much needed medical supplies by way of a 40’ shipping container.

Next, please join us in prayer for our FAME scholarship recipients, including three new students that have just been granted scholarships. These young Christian students are all nationals, studying in the medical field. They will then serve with a sponsoring mission organization in their home country, providing medical care and sharing the love of Christ after graduation.

And last but not least, take time this Memorial Day to remember those who have sacrificed so much for our country, and pray for those that continue to serve.
