Monthly Prayer Calendar June 2014
Thank you for your continued support of the ministry of FAME through prayer. Your prayers have and will touch people all around the world. This month we begin with prayers for the company of Fishhook Communications. They have been working with us for over a year now on our rebranding. Today is the launch of that new look. We hope you like what you see. There will be more information about our “new look” in this month’s upcoming newsletter and on our website starting June 2nd.
Other items we would like you to pray for include:
- The Dominican Republic medical mission team that will be leaving on June 6th. Please pray that the team be a light as they provide help and hope through the medical care that they provide.
- Volunteer groups that will be coming to FAME this month. We could not do all that we do without the help of volunteers. We are so grateful for them. If you or your group would like more information on our volunteering, please visit our website.
- FAME scholarship recipients. We currently support 5 students, but are in the process of evaluating new candidates. FAME offers scholarships to international students who are studying in their home countries. After graduation, they are then required to serve in their country for a minimum of two years with a partner mission.
- Prayer as we perform our fiscal year inventory of our medicines and medical supplies in our warehouse.
Last, but not least, please pray for the donations of much needed medicines. We are at a critically low point in our medicine inventory. We have sent teams this year to Myanmar, Burkina Faso, Haiti, Honduras and this month the Dominican Republic. Next month we have a team going to Brazil. All these teams have taken, or will take large quantities of medicines. We pray that in the coming month we can receive the medicines we need to fill our shelves so that we can supply these medicines for our teams to take with them as they provide medical care. Many of these are over the counter medicines and vitamins that are easily accessible to us, but not to those in foreign countries.
