CICM is so excited about the new addition of the Youth Center. Abhijeet Lall envisioned the Youth Center as a fun and safe place for the young people of Damoh to come and hang out after school. It is exciting to see his vision come to reality.
The Youth Center officially opened at the beginning of January 2014. The youth from CIBA Bible College, CMTC Nursing College, and high school students of Bal Bhavan Children’s Home have been using it ever since.
On an average day, about 150 young people workout, hangout, and play basketball, ping-pong, and pool. The Youth Center has provided a place for these young people to build relationships, exercise, play sports, and have a fun time with friends, but most importantly, it is a way to reach out and share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with the young people of Damoh.
Future plans for the Youth Center include a coffee shop and seminars to train the youth leaders of CICM to reach out to all the youth throughout India. Please pray that the Lord will provide the resources for these future goals.
