In India, 443 million people live on less than $1 per day. Almost half of the children suffer from malnourishment – the highest rate in the world. Every day, 5000 children under the age of five years old die from preventable diseases. Economic progress is coming to parts of India, but much of the country still suffers extreme poverty, malnutrition and disease.
We have the chance to help these children by giving them the proper nutrients they need. Central India Christian Mission is providing gift baskets filled with essential vitamins. These baskets are $100 and will provide essential vitamins to ten children. Please pray about helping the impoverished children have a chance at a healthier life.
