Over 500 children are living in a children’s home located on a tiger preserve in India. Many of their parents left them behind to go find work in a larger city. Many other died from disease and issues related to the famine conditions. These children were left with little or no chance to survive on their own.

One of the dangers these children face is being exploited for child slavery. Although there are laws forbidding it, child laborersestimates range as high 44 million. UNICEF statistics even go as high as 75 million. Often these children are sold to repay a debt the family incurred.

Central India Christian Mission is dedicated to meeting the needs of these children. We provide food, shelter, education and most importantly the knowledge and love of Christ.

Because the home is on a tiger preserve, India has recently mandated that all facilities be moved off of this location. This is a huge undertaking for the CICM Children’s Ministry, both physically and financially. We are asking that you please consider giving $250 toward this ministry. We also ask that you would pray for God’s provision over this children’s home and all the details involved. Thank you for your prayers and support, we are so grateful.

“He put a child in the middle of the room, then, cradling the little one in his arms, he said, whoever embraces one of these children as I do embraces me, and far more than me – God who sent me.”
