22 December 2013

Our British friends usually say ‘Happy Christmas’ rather than ‘Merry Christmas’ to wish holiday greetings to one another. Whatever the words and language, there can be much hope in these words, as if they were a prayer. Untold difficulty, misery, and suffering are the lot of many in our world as this year’s celebrations draw near.

When we say to you, ‘Have a happy and merry Christmas,’ it is our hopeful prayer that you will know deep and lasting peace and wholeness in your life, in the lives of your loved ones, and in the lives of our hurting world.

Fondly,
Timothy and Tammy Aho
