Have you found it challenging to motivate your church, community, friends, or even yourself to become disciple-makers? There is an intense urgency in the need to share the Gospel; we all know how much is at stake. So why aren’t we better at sharing?

In one article below, our president Doug Lucas outlines six reasons every Christian should prioritize making more disciples. Part of Team Expansion’s mission is to partner with the global church to mobilize, train, and coach. We’d love to partner with you and help you implement fruitful disciple-making practices.

We’re thankful for partners, like you, who understand this urgency and invest their prayers, time, and resources towards sharing the Gospel. You play a vital role in advancing the cause of fulfilling the Great Commission.

Below, read and learn about our latest efforts to reach the remaining 3 billion unreached mothers, fathers, and children with the Good News.

And please, keep praying.

CAMPUS UPDATE

A Game-Changing Strategy

Roughly once a year, a special working group meets here at Emerald Hills. They descend on our campus from all over the country to dream, plan, and deploy an online training course called Zume. To me, Zume is a game-changing strategy that could unlock the cold hearts of millions, ushering mothers, fathers, and their children out of a Christ-less eternity and into the Father’s throne room forever.

Zume is a collection of tools, skills, and behaviors that will help you become a disciple worth multiplying, then transfer your spiritual walk to others. The course is 10 lessons long, 2 hours per session. There’s no book to buy, nor dvd to rent, and the course is completely free of charge. You WILL need a group of 4 – 12 people (including you), a willing heart, and a passion for Christ. Once you’ve finished, you’ll know how to multiply disciples, Zume groups, simple churches and more.

By year’s end, Zume will hopefully be translated into 36 languages.

My life tends to be a complete zoo. I travel, speak, play piano at church, play soccer 3 times a week with an international pickup group, and try to be the best husband I can be. But somehow, God has helped me facilitate 8 Zume groups over the past 18 months. Recently, I was able to help launch 9 new Zume groups at the local church I attend. You can do Zume too. Just go on the web to www.ZumeProject.com. Sign up, find some friends, and check it out.

These are the kinds of ideas that develop here at Emerald Hills. They are ideas that change the world. We’re grateful for your partnership. You make this place possible. We pray that God will bless you for your sacrificial and unselfish giving.
