You can look at all our updated personnel needs here: Personnel Needs. If none of the urgent personnel needs seem like a good fit for you, we’re happy to talk about other opportunities that might be a good match. Some current needs include the following:
Agricultural Specialist, Ivory Coast: An individual with expertise in agriculture or farming is needed in this ministry. An established team already on the ground uses Community Health Evangelism as a ministry strategy. Because Ivory Coast has many natural resources, farming is a legitimate way of making an income and providing for a family. This individual would work alongside the CHE program to help educate Ivorians on successful farming techniques and also explore ways of growing other plants or food. A background in agriculture and a four-year commitment is required.
Community Development Worker, Trujillo, Peru: CMF is looking for individuals with a heart for the urban poor to work in the city of Trujillo, Peru. Trujillo is a city of 1.2 million people, the second largest city in Peru. Work alongside Peruvians using Community Health Evangelism principles and discipleship to minister to the urban poor. Individuals must have the ability to work under national leadership, and will be trained by and report to a North American team leader. A two- to four-year commitment to the ministry is preferred.
Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Nairobi, Kenya: Our ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, currently oversees the education of nearly 13,000 children in the Mathare Valley slums. As part of the ministry’s holistic care, the children receive professional medical and dental care. An experienced physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner is needed to work in the main ministry center at Pangani and at the new health center at the boarding school in Joska. A one- to two-year commitment is preferred.
