Seasons Greetings from Taiwan:

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins” (Matt 1:21).  Somehow, many manage to celebrate Christmas and not ask, “Why?”  Why was Jesus born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago?  The angel told Joseph in a dream that Jesus was coming to save from sin. Let’s not forget to include the “Why” in our Christmas story this Holiday Season!

This morning the Come Christian Church will all gather for worship here at our ministry center.  We will be learning to share the Christmas story for the live nativity.  During the fellowship dinner, we will go over plans for next weekend.  Please pray for our live nativity next weekend.  Pray for nice weather, large crowds and faithfulness in proclaiming the birth of our Savior.

We are thanking the Lord to be a part of Linda Zhang’s graduation from YWAM this past Friday, in Taipei.  We are very proud of Linda, and praying for her as she considers how she will continue to serve the Lord.

In family news, we celebrateNoah’s 14th birthday today! Thank you, Lord, for our boy! We were in Kaohsiung yesterday for the softball tournament — placing 3rd with Noah’s 8th grade class. Tabitha has one more final to take and then she will be returning to Taiwan for Christmas!  Mack & Elaine, Brenda’s parents, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend! What a blessing they are to us!  Thank you, Lord, for family!

Thank you for your partnership with us in Taiwan! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

All for God’s Glory Among the Nations,
