Greetings from Taiwan:

“He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him – and he was a Samaritan.” (Luke 17:16)  Why did the other 9 lepers not return to thank the Lord?  Would I be the one, or follow the crowd of ungratefulness?  Have I been saved from sin much like being saved from the disease of leprosy?  And, if I was the one, the Samaritan; would I still be thankful amidst the storms of life?  Lord, create in me a grateful heart!

This morning is a third Sunday, which means Come Church.  All our Go Churches will gather together for worship — and our theme is “A Grateful Heart.” Brenda has been busy preparing a Thanksgiving meal — turkey, dressing and pumpkin pie.  We will have several first-time visitors today, so please pray that seeds planted will bear fruit in their hearts.

Tabitha, at U Chicago law school, called to tell us that one of her classmates (one of only three girls on her intramural co-ed volleyball team), Abbie, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday.  At this point they aren’t sure why Abbie passed away.  Abbie was also a 2nd year student, and a Christian. Please pray for Abbie’s family, and for Tab and her classmates.

We’ll begin using the 8 Miracles booklet in coming weeks in several different settings. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of those hearing the Word!

We’ve found a park for our live nativity!  We’ll be signing the contract with the city this week. Please be praying for Dec 21-22.

I’m sure you’ve seen the destruction in the Philippines caused by the recent typhoon. Team Expansion has workers there!  If you’d like to help, let us know and we can point you in the right direction!  Pray for the people of PI!

We’ve still got potatoes to peel. Thank you for praying!
