Library Reopened

We are pleased to announce that the library is now reopened!  The brand new and improved library is now located off the fellowship room in the main building.  With new floors, paint, bookshelves, and plenty of books we hope that the library will serve guests looking for a place to study or borrow a good read.  There is also a renovated bathroom for guests using the library and fellowship room.

Refrigerator Needed!!

Are you planning to update your kitchen appliances? Do you have a good refrigerator that you would like to pass along to a worthy cause? Chalet Retreat is in need of a refrigerator to replace the one in the kitchen area of the conference room. Color is not an issue and an icemaker is optional. We do need one that is at least 18 cubic feet and while the dimensions ideally would not exceed 66″ x 29″, we can accommodate a larger refrigerator if needed. In order for us to be able to effectively pick up and transport the refrigerator, the donor needs to live within the Tri-Cities area of Northeast TN. If you think you might be able to help us with this need, please call Chalet Retreat at (423) 725-2450.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers who are friends of these ministries.  Being a father is one of the most important hats you will ever wear.  We are thankful for our earthly fathers, but also our heavenly Father for being the perfect example of unconditional love.

Psalm 103:13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; (NIV)

Summertime Activities

One of the best things aout Chalet Retreat is the location. We are secluded enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet still only a short drive to tons of great activities.  Check out some of the activities offered around the area this summer.
This is in NO way an exhaustive list of all the festivities and entertainment offered around the area.  For more ideas of things to do, check out the links below.
