I just completed a three night series on what Acts says to the Church in Ukraine today. I preach at the same church the next two Sundays. Between Sundays I will teach a modular course on apologetics for MA students, living at the institute.
The Golovins have been great hosts to me this month.
FYI, some people I know who are still living in Crimea but were not supportive of the Russian takeover are still having a card time coping with the changes, and some have had to change jobs due to ‘persecution’ against them when they could not affirm the glories of being under Russia. So, if you are in a government paid job, like a teacher or doctor, it is not enough that you keep your pro-Ukraine thoughts to yourself, you are expected to overtly support the new government, including teaching or parroting the new official view of recent history.
For some people, there are no complaints. All will be well enough, soon enough. And if not, they will still support ‘the motherland.’
Blessings,
Georges
