NorthPointe Christian Church
Please pray for Susan, who is a widow we were able to help recently through our Dollar Club ministry. Susan will be moving to Lincoln, RI in the next month and is a little anxious about settling into a new community. Please pray that NorthPointe will be able to continue to come alongside of Susan and minister to her, not only financially, but also spiritually and emotionally as well.
Please pray for Matt. Matt started attending NorthPointe earlier this year with his grandmother. He has dealt with addiction for a few years now, but really wanted to get clean and get his life on the right track. He was very interested in pursuing God and finding freedom from his struggle. After attending NorthPointe for a solid two months, though, Matt has not been around for a few weeks and has stopped returning our phone calls and texts, which isn’t a good sign for someone dealing with addiction. Please pray for God to get ahold of Matt’s heart and for a support group of believers to come alongside of him and show him love and grace that ultimately points him to God’s love and grace.
Please pray for Ben. Ben and his family have been attending NorthPointe for a little over a year and are a big part of our ministry. Recently, Ben shared with me that when he was younger, he felt a call to ministry, but ran from it and pursued a life away from God. Now that he’s gotten serious about his faith again, he feels that urging in his spirit once more. Please pray that Ben will have clarity about his next steps and the timing of it and that when and if that time comes, we can celebrate as a church that we are sending out this family we love to serve!

SouthPointe Christian Church
We have several stories to celebrate at SouthPointe. Here are two ‘celebration’ emails we have received in the last week.
Praise God for Amy and Tyler. This is what Amy wrote to Tyler, “Thank you Tyler for the follow up. I was introduced to the church almost four weeks ago. I have gone each Sunday since then, and I have really found it a blessing, especially with its focus on Jesus, the Word. I brought a few friends from JWU (Johnson and Wales University) and they also enjoyed the sermons and we have been getting together for bible studies here at the school. It had been a struggle searching for a good church, and study, but with prayer, together, Jesus has lead us to SouthPointe, and I truly believe it’s the right one for all of us. Yay!”
Praise God for Alina and Grace. Our staff received the following email from Alina’s friend Grace this week, “My friend Alina (who does not know the Lord), came to worship night on Friday. After the service I asked her what she thought and she was speechless. She showed me her index card that read “is this real? all these people are so happy.” She then told me she felt the presence of God in that room. She allowed me to pray for her and she came back on Easter Sunday!! Since then she has not stopped asking me questions about Jesus. She watched Son of God and Gods not Dead all on her own! The Lord is most certainly pursuing her and answering my prayers. I am going to give her a bible on Saturday for her birthday and hopefully she will come back to church this week. I just wanted to rejoice with you all over the work that God is doing in our church. I am so grateful for this event and I expect God to do great things in Alina’s life. I know it has absolutely nothing to do with me…and that God could use anyone to answer her questions or invite her to church, but I am so grateful that even though I am not worthy, God is using me.”
Please pray for the following people who are considering saying “yes” to Jesus and being baptized: Wesley, Nathan, Laura, Patrick, Erin, John, Rebecca, Launitta, Christen, Tyonna, Courtney, David, Cassandra, Lisa, Robin, Joe, and Dennis.

BridgePointe Christian Church
Rob had hit rock bottom when he first came to BridgePointe a few months ago. After years in an abusive and negative marriage, he turned to drugs. His marriage ended but the addiction continued. After coming to BridgePointe and being confronted with his addiction by a friend, he gave up cocaine with only God’s help. Through involvement with the worship team, Rob began growing toward Jesus and was baptized this past Sunday. Rob has been clean 105 days and counting. Pray for God to give him strength to keep following Jesus.
Easter weekend was an amazing celebration for us. We connected with hundreds of people through the Egg Hunt on Saturday and welcomed many new guests to our three Easter Sunday services. Please pray that these connections will lead people to Jesus through BridgePointe!
Brandon and Christina are a young dating couple who found BridgePointe together. Through getting connected in a Home Group and being mentored by a staff couple, they are discovering Jesus for the first time. Brandon has committed his life to Jesus and will be baptized at the end of April and Christina is seriously considering the same. Please pray for them to make a commitment to Jesus and to surrender their lives, their relationship, and their future to him.

OceanPointe Christian Church
Please join us in celebrating all that God has done in the past YEAR with OceanPointe! We are so excited to reach this milestone and thank God for all that He has done already and all that is still to come. We had a celebration with our church family on April 12 and announced some of our dreams for the future of our church… including building out the 24/7 space next-door to the theater! Please continue your prayers in that direction as we seek to know God’s will for OceanPointe’s future.
We are so excited that our friend Carley was baptized on Easter Sunday! However, her family is not supportive of her decision as they are from a Roman Catholic background, so Carley is struggling to defend her choice. We ask that you would pray for transformation in Carley’s life that shows the power of Christ in her to others!
We’d like to ask for your prayers for a family encompassing two adult sisters (one of them is Rebecca, whom we asked you to pray for before) and all their children. This winter has been rough for many of us, and this family has especially struggled with health issues and relationship problems. Please pray that they’ll find renewed passion for seeking God and being a part of the church community.
Please be praying for Rachel, Josh, Ryan, Chris, Robert, Nicole, Katy, and Brenda— all of whom are in different stages of considering baptism! Pray with us that they would desire a fresh start and new life in Christ. Our team is still trying to figure out the best ways to shepherd these growing believers. Please be praying that we will discover God’s will in that.
