I had mentioned in an earlier mailing that there were some other things I wanted to share with you.
First we are grateful for the help and assistance of Scott and Kathy Hudson from Cincinnati, Ohio who are here in Ambon for a few weeks. They are helping with educational and other projects. Pray for this time to be used in a good way for the glory of our Lord.
We travel to a neighboring island last week to meet with Al and Linda (and to meet their two-and-one-half-year-old son, Anugerah. They are returned to work in Rabbit County after a deserved break visiting with family in Sulawesi and Java. Please ask the Lord to use them to bring many into the “family” in “Rabbit County”. Al has been serving there since an earthquake in 2009.
Former students and co-workers in the place where we last lived before moving to Ambon, tell us that local religious leaders have made a place of worship for the majority faith available to them to do tutoring for school age children who have not been able to attend school because of economic concerns. Pray for Abel and FirstBorn as they teach the students, meet the students’ families and share the Good news. What a door the Lord has opened.
