Thank God:
· For a wonderful time celebrating Christmas as a family and for opportunities to get together with several members of our extended Herchenroeder and Towne families.
· For providing us a wonderfully comfortable home in which to relax and enjoy our time together.
· For the blessing of having children who deeply love and respect each other.
Please Pray:
· That our final two days in the U.S. will be both restful and productive. Pray especially for additional rich time with Josh and Matthew. (Karissa has already returned to Texas.)
· For safe, pleasant, and uneventful travel as we leave late Wednesday night to return to Papua New Guinea. Pray for on-time flights to Brisbane, Port Moresby, and finally Madang and for smooth transits between flights. If all goes as scheduled we and our luggage will arrive in Madang Friday evening PNG time. Please pray that this will happen.
· For Mike’s health. He feels “buggy” today. Pray that God will take away all his symptoms of illness and fully restore his energy before we begin our long journey Wednesday night.
· For peace and unity at our team’s Annual General Meeting next month in Papua New Guinea.
