Here is a look at our year in 2014! Praise God for his faithfulness and greatness!
The year started off differently. The Pre-School are was not ready so the little ones had to meet upstairs for a few days. But before long, they were able to go to their own area and start learning.
We welcomed several groups who came to love on our kids this year: Dallas Christian College, Carrollton Christian Academy, A small group from Quincy, Ill, the World Race, and Compass Christian Church who built new playgrounds. The Travis Manion Foundation donated instruments to our band. Several other groups came for a few hours at a time to improve our campus. We are so thankful for such awesome servants!
Of course day-by-day we push the kids to learn a lot and have a little fun too.
The kids loved the Independence Day parade in September. They all dressed up as TV or movie characters.
During the summer, we had several great interns to help out in many ways. Mackenzie, Amanda, Sara, Maddie, and Jessica made a big difference. Allie was with us for 8 months and worked with all her heart. Pray for Allie as she prepares to move to the Dominican with her husband for the next chapter of her Story
Morning Glory’s 1st Marathon was a big hit for the kids.
Lori’s 35th anniversary of ministry in Guatemala celebration was a great time to reflect and celebrate. Herb Pinney, the Executive Director of NIMA, even came down to see all that God has done.
Morning Glory’s dance program really took off this year.
Morning Glory Marching Band continued its success. See our Facebook and YouTube channel for more (links above)
Morning Glory students even performed in some dramas this year
