Thank God:

·      For the beauty of His creation that is all around us.

·      That last week’s meetings with representatives of the Abu and Bosmun language groups went well. We believe that they left town with a clearer understanding of the roles of the project committees they must set up to oversee their communities’ involvement in the translation and literacy work that PBT is offering to facilitate.  

·      For Eunice’s safe and smooth travels from Madang to Indiana last week. Give thanks with us also for the opportunity to worship Sunday Judson Road Christian Church, our sending congregation, and for the opportunity to spend a few days with Mike’s mom and to visit with a few other family members. Give thanks also that her body is adjusting much faster than usual to the 15-hour time difference.

 

Please Pray:

·      For the Abu and Bosmun men and women who attended last week’s meetings as they tell their home communities what they learned and as they begin setting up their project committees.

·      For the meetings that Mike and our co-worker Norm are having early this week with representatives from the Kayan and Watam language groups. Pray that these meetings, similar to last week’s with the Abu and Bosmun representatives, will go well. Pray that the men and women who attend will leave town with clear understandings about the project committees that they need to set up before PBT can begin assisting them with literacy and translation.

·      For safe travel as Eunice flies from Indiana to Dallas Wednesday and for productive days accomplishing a variety of tasks before she begins participating in meetings next week.

·      For Mike in his work each day as director of our team in Papua New Guinea.
