Thank God:
· That the Mbore team finished reading through and making corrections to their New Testament translation on Friday!
· For beginning to answer prayers regarding the Akukem translation team. A few weeks ago we asked you to pray that God will work mightily in their hearts. Last week the chairman of the translators came to the office to tell Mike that they will be meeting at the end of this month to discuss how they can get the translation program going again. Thank you for praying!
· That the draft of Luke in the Waran language is nearly completed, the Aruamu Old Testament translation team finished a productive work session last week, and the Mum team continued making spelling corrections in their translation of Matthew. Whew! We are so grateful for another week where we could clearly see God working to move so many translations forward. And on top of that, Steve and the Tay team made significant progress recording the New Testament.
Please Pray:
· For rest and refreshment for the Mbore team as they take a two-week break back in their villages before returning to town to do one more careful read-through of their New Testament to check all their recent changes.
· That God continues to grant good progress to every team currently working in town.
· For the Akukem team as they prepare for their meeting. Pray that that God will soften hearts and grant each team member a spirit of unity and humility. Pray for Mike in whatever conversations he has with team members as they prepare for this meeting.
· That God will renew Mike’s energy.
· For Mike as he attends the PNG Forum of Bible Agencies meeting in the PNG highlands this week. Pray for rich fellowship and for productive discussions.
· For Eunice’s peace and protection during Mike’s absence.
