Indigent Feeding Program Began

We began another feeding program this past week in the providence of Northern Bahr El Gazel on the border of Darfur. ( last program was held during a Cholera outbreak).  This program specifically targets the   hospital patients who would not otherwise have food to eat while they undergo treatment. Some are sick with disease, while others may be pregnant or treated for dehydration or injury. Unlike western hospitals, the hospitals and clinics of Sudan do not have a cafeteria or kitchen and do not provide food or even the needed supplies for procedures. It is the families responsibility to provide everything from water to surgical gloves, medication to toiletries for their loved ones admitted to the hospital. The indigent population suffer. Mercy Partners provides relief for those that have seen the worst of humanity and your prayers and financial support has given love wings!

Pray for our Native Evangelists who are on the front lines!
Pray that our feeding program is able to increase over the upcoming months.
Pray for uninhibited access to the Sudan as we have had. Sanctions and laws have prevented many while our work thrives in the empowered hands of natives.
