Why indeed would gospel workers be interested in founding profitable businesses? First, only profitable businesses survive. Secondly, profitable business provide an identity and a way in for Gospel Workers. We ask that you pray with us for that way in for Speedy. He, Janes, and two guests from a neighboring Asian country have been meeting this week to decide on a possible business to help the economic development locally and that will open the door for Speedy to move his family to our city to serve the B people among whom he was successful in winning many on another island before he was forced to flee for his life in 2002.
Pray for wisdom, favor, and open doors for this venture. It could even provide profit for investors and support for workers if managed well and blessed by the Lord.
Thank you for praying for Graciella. She is much improved, but still bothered by a nagging cough which may be from allergies we are all subject to.
Dennis is awaiting the summons for the interview appointment with USCIS. Please pray that the application to be handled by people who are favorably disposed to Christianity and missions.
Dennis is enjoying preaching at Bethany Christian in Carrollton, and the revival that is underway at Whitesburg Christian Church. Next Sunday he will preach at Bethany and in the evening teach on Islam at Cross Plains Christian. Then he’s off to North Carolina for some grandpa duty. We will return and then head to Winter Haven, Florida to participate in their Faith Promise.
Lynn should arrive in Atlanta on October 24th. O Happy Day!
