Thank God:

·      That Mike was able to preach Sunday at our church here in Madang and that Eunice and 5 of our PBT co-workers were able to participate in various ways in the worship service.

·      That Eunice is on the road to recovery after several days of fighting sinus and bronchial congestion.

Please Pray:

·      For our co-workers Brian and Norm as they begin a rigorous 10-day trip Thursday. The trip will take them to 10 villages in four language groups near the mouth of the Ramu River to invite them to participate in a new translation initiative that our team is prayerfully undertaking. Pray for strength, good health, and clear communication as they and Mbore-speaking Thomas meet with people in each community to talk about their first steps for participating in this opportunity for translation, literacy, and Scripture Use in their own language.

·      For our co-workers Tyler, Emily, Jim, and Joni as they begin a 10-day trip Thursday that will take them to Gandep Bible School to teach a Scripture Use course next week. Pray for safe travel, good health, and good interactions with the 30 students at Gandep.

·      For Mike, the local church leaders, and others involved in planning for the Hope for a Better Future church conference in early October.
