AFO and Chalet Retreat Ministries August 2014 News

We are so excited about this option for guests!  A local ministry called Highlands Outdoor Adventures has graciously partnered with us to allow guests of Chalet Retreat to participate in a variety of local outdoor activities at a very low cost.  If your family is on a budget and you didn’t think you could afford to do much, you are wrong!  Using only experienced and well-trained staff, they offer activities such as white water rafting, caving, rock climbing, hiking, and so much more.  They do this as a ministry and a unique way to share the gospel, only charging a fee for equipment rental and a donation of what you can afford.  We know they will be a blessing to our guests and are so excited about what they are doing!  Check out their website for specifics and contact info:  www.highlandsadventures.org.

Hillside is one of our most popular units.  It has a deck overlooking Tiger creek and a small waterfall.  Hillside is located on the main campus and is a favorite among repeat guests. It sleeps 5, with one king bed and 3 twins, or it can be split to 5 twin beds.  It has 1 1/2 baths and just like all the other chalets, it has a fully furnished kitchen, living, and dining room.  Does it get much better than that for $55 a night?
