Greetings from Carrollton, Georgia and Ambon, Indonesia!
While Lynn is in Ambon assisting with ministry there, Dennis is based in Carrollton, Georgia where he is working to resolve matters with the Department of Homeland Security concerning his “Green Card.” Documents have been gathered and the application prepared. It will be mailed to the Immigration office tomorrow. We are requesting the expedited service that he should qualify for. If they see things, as we and the attorney think they should, it is possible, Dennis could be ready to return to Indonesia before the end of the year. Please pray for the application to fall on the desk of a fair and just person who is not prejudiced against Christian evangelism. If it came to the hands of a serious believer, that could be most helpful as the officers involved have freedom to respond to their “gut reactions” within certain boundaries. Thank you for your prayers. We are ready to put this behind us and get back on the same side of the ocean together ASAP.
Please continue to pray for the advance of the gospel in “Rabbit County” on Sumatra, in SKT on the island where Lynn is currently, among the Bees where we lived for about a dozen years before moving to Ambon and in places like Ambon where large numbers live. Abel reports that there continues to be evangelistic fruit among the Bees in Pleasant Port. In the last few days another wife of a believer was buried with Christ. Seeing couples united in faith and commitment is quite a significant step forward in the work there. Please continue to pray for the conversion of the wives and families of all believers, especially Suri, the estranged wife of Buzz.
Speedy this week is processing a visa to come again to our city in the Spice Islands. He will spend a couple of months sharing the Good News and gathering the information that we need to start a Kingdom Business which can legitimately sponsor a long term visa for him. Pray for the processing of the visa, the locating reliable supplies of items we wish to export, and for the opening of consistent markets in weathier Asian cities.
While Dennis is here, he is visitng among partnering churches and accepting to invitations to preach, teach or report. He will preach August 31st at Lamar Christian Church in North Georgia; September 10th and for two services on the 14th he will be at the Lester Road Christian Church in metro Atlanta.
Until they all hear clearly,
Dennis and Lynn Fre
