Send 65, CMF’s new prayer initiative asking God to raise up 65 more cross-cultural workers by the end of 2015, begins August 1, and Executive Director Doug Priest invites you to sign up to be a part of it.

“Five billion people in the world still don’t know Jesus,” said Doug. “We know it’s going to take many new missionaries in new ministry fields to reach more of these people.”

Send 65 is a part of Forward Together, CMF’s 65^th anniversary observance this year. As part of this celebration, CMF has set a goal of opening 10 new ministry fields by 2020. This includes new countries and new locations in countries where ministry is already ongoing.

New fields also require new workers, which led to another goal of adding 65 new missionaries to our teams around the world by the end of 2015. And what better way to launch that goal than with prayer?

Our daily prayer during this time is this: “Lord, move the hearts of those who can go.” Will you commit to praying with us every day for 65 days, from August 1 to October 4, 2014?
