Thank God:
· That we are surrounded by reminders that God is answering prayer on behalf of our team and the people God has called us here to serve.
· That we are feeling pretty well settled into our PNG home.
· For enabling Mike to have numerous productive meetings this past week as he steps back into his day-to-day responsibilities as our director.
Please Pray:
· For the transformation of this nation at every level. Pray particularly that turmoil in the national government will be peacefully resolved for the benefit of the entire country.
· For wisdom in setting our schedules and grace as we reintegrate back into the life and ministry of the team in Madang.
· For the Mbore team and their advisor Dave Robinson as they read through the Mborena Kam New Testament one final time to make sure that it sounds right and that all needed corrections have been made. They are currently about half a day behind schedule for finishing before Dave must leave. Pray that they will be able to pick up their pace without sacrificing the quality of their work. Pray also for protection of every member of the team as they work here in Madang and for their families back in their village homes.
· For the Tay people and Steve and Rhonda Hayward as they prepare for the Tay New Testament dedication next week. Pray also for safe travels for the many visitors who will soon be traveling to PNG to attend this dedication. And pray for strength and grace for Bethaney Butler, who is coordinating the extremely complicated logistics for all the visitors as well as for those on our team who desire to attend the dedication.
