I am excited to share with you the amazing progress that is being made on the LIA Training Center in Nairobi, Kenya. This project is very near to the hearts of the LIA team, as God has commissioned us to make disciples of all nations, specifically through equipping community leaders in transformational development.
Our building contractors and construction team have made incredible progress since the groundbreaking just six months ago. And just last week, we began to see the roof being added to the buildings! We are preparing to enter the next stage, and making final decisions on aspects like paint, tile, and office furnishings. I am amazed and grateful at how quickly our teams worked to make the two phases, which will serve as LIA’s training center and offices, a reality. Please join me today in praising God for His faithfulness in this matter.
Thank the Lord for His righteousness, affirmation and guidance throughout this entire process. Thank Him especially for His provision – not only for the construction teams, but equally important, the partners who have financially supported the Center, and those on the LIA senior leadership team and international board, who faithfully guide this process through the building committee. In addition, we are grateful for the supporters who have volunteered their time and expertise outside of an official capacity, simply because they love this ministry and the Kingdom impact the Center is sure to bring. We give praise to God for all of those that he has called to partner with us to carry out this vision, may they be rewarded for their obedience and generosity in giving towards this project.
Finally, I ask that you join me in thanking our Father for the many doors this project is opening and for the new volunteers and supporters that have pledged to help us as we enter the next stages of this project.
As we continue to move forward we know that there is still much to be done. But we are grateful for the opportunity to pause and recognize God’s goodness in the midst of the amazing progress being made. Thank you for joining with us to offer thanksgiving this week.
