Monthly Prayer Calendar May 2014

For many of you, this may be the first time you have received the monthly FAME prayer calendar. Won’t you join us each month as we pray for our missionary partners, scholarship recipients, mission trip participants, board members, TECH and health care partners, volunteers, staff and other events and projects that FAME is involved in?
For those of you that have been receiving the prayer calendar on a regular basis you are seeing the calendar in a different format. Just click here to access the prayer calendar where a person will be listed each day. To all of you we thank you so much for your support of the ministry through prayer. We are so blessed to have so many faithful partners in ministry.
This month we have a short-term medical mission team going to Honduras to serve with Felipe and Valerie Colby of His Eyes in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This team can expect to experience Honduran culture first hand by staying overnight in a rural community, working side by side with Honduran medical professionals, distributing food to families in need, and visiting very sick children who are hospitalized in a local hospital setting. Please join us in prayer for the team, the missionaries and the ministry there.
Another item we would like you to pray about this month is a trip that FAME Executive Director, Bill Warren will be going on the middle of the month as he leaves for Nepal on May 13. He will be evaluating new sustainable projects that FAME is prayerfully considering for the future.
We also ask for prayer for the FAME staff and many of our volunteers who give of themselves week after week to help in the effort of seeing the world won for Christ through medical evangelism.
And last but not least, take time this Memorial Day to remember those who have sacrificed so much for our country, and pray for those that continue to serve.
