We had five baptisms this month! The church is really starting to evangelize and bring people to Christ. People in the barrio are seeking us out, wanting to be part of the family of God. It’s been an exciting month watching miracles happen in Ecuador. Jonathan is the son of the first people we baptized almost 2 years ago. We have been visiting him for several months, but he always had an excuse not to do the Peace Treaty (a tool we use to evangelize). But we never gave up on him. Now, he wants to get married and is determined to change his life. He said that he wants to do what is right in God’s eyes. We haven’t been able to really get to know his girlfriend yet, but we will. As many of you know marriage is not really common here in Ecuador, so it was pleasant to hear that Jonathan was thinking about this. He has told us he wants to be an example for not only his family but also for his community. Jonathan is very influential with the young adults in Santa Martha. Please pray for his spiritual growth as he gets to know Christ more!
