LaVerne continues to heal from her infection and is in physiotherapy. If her knee continues to heal and her leg is strengthened, she will have her ankle fused. However, her left arm is hurting her a lot. I think it is from having to use her arms to raise herself from a sitting position and she has injured her deltoids and triceps. Just another painful complication. Please do pray regularly for complete healing for LaVerne.
We do not have a return date yet. I will need to help LaVerne with her first six weeks of recovery from ankle surgery, then may return to Ukraine for a few months — if there is not a war then. I doubt that LaVerne would be up to travel before late August.
