Lynn’s mother, Virginia Loftis Manning, left this life Thursday (16th) evening about supper time.   The room was filled with both her daughters, and all three of her sons-in-law including the husband of Kathy who passed away in 1989, his wife, and three of Virginia’s seven grandchildren.   Three other grandchildren contacted us in her final minutes.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.  The family will gather in a private celebration of life ceremony in early February.   How do you complain when someone had 90 good years!!

Thank you for your prayers.    We are especially grateful that Lynn was blessed to get back and to be able to say good bye before Virginia left us.

We are en route to Georgia via North Carolina (and a couple of Grands), we will be picking up our planned schedule.  We have rescheduled Lynn’s oncology appointment for next Wednesday (22nd).   We will meet with our directors on Friday (24th).  Dennis plans to speak at Millers Academy Christian in the Carrollton/Bremen area on Sunday the 26th.    The remainder of our schedule will be determined by the selected date for the celebration of
Virginia’s life in Delaware.

We still plan to be in the US until February 14th … Ever being the romantic Dennis scheduled a Valentine’s Day fight across the Pacific to celebrate.

Ya’ll come! We are asking God to send English speakers who love Jesus and care for  people (especially lost people) to help us make contacts throughout the city of Ambon.   You could help with the pre-school programs,  English classes, communication sessions   at the American Corner at a local University, prayer walking, and through friendship.   Air fare is about $1800 (return).  Visa would be $25-50.   Living costs less than $30/day.    Come for a week, or better for a month, or three  … or a few years.  Great experience for College Students and a meaningful retirement activity for Seniors.   Contact us if you are interested.  We can give you plenty of meaningful things to do while you learn about and contribute to pioneer evangelism and church planting.   You can have an impact for the Gospel in the islands that Columbus never reached!
