Give thanks for four new translations begun this year so that we are now translating the Bible for over 26 million people speaking 62 languages in 14 countries.
Monday
Give thanks for the numerical growth He granted, especially a 14% increase in overseas career personnel.
Tuesday
Give thanks for the Scriptures that were published and distributed, including the complete Bible in a West African language, an audio New Testament in a Papua New Guinean language, and numerous Scripture portions.
Wednesday
Give thanks for significant milestones in other translation projects as a Bible, two New Testaments, and several major Old Testament portions were completed. Give thanks also for other translation projects that are now very close to being finished.
Thursday
Give thanks for the mother tongue translators He raised up this past year and for the opportunities He granted us to equip them.
Friday
Give thanks for the impact of our ministry on the people among whom we serve. Give thanks for His transforming work in their individual lives, in their churches, and in their communities.
Saturday
Give thanks that God is empowering us to accomplish our mission to see networks of churches in every language community we serve using Scripture to grow, mature, and multiply. |
